You lot all know how much I love SUQQU eyeshadows as well equally the original brushes. SUQQU launched some new brushes on Selfridges a bit ago and I've been meaning to compare them for a while. The old brushes are fabricated of grey squirrel hair. They are the softest, least dense brushes ever. They're great for pigmented and soft powders for laying downward a light a soft launder of color. If you want the all-time chroma brush ever for a really pigmented chroma it'southward the original SUQQU. I dear their power castor as well as my all fourth dimension favorite for a low-cal power dusting. It picks up such a light corporeality of powder that you never overdo information technology.

The new brushes on Selfridges are fabricated of dyed caprine animal hair. They're manner more dense and requite a heavier application of colour. They're even so soft merely but a very different brush in general. I used to buy the original grey squirrel version on Selfridges online. I think my start purchase was effectually 2013 or so for a brush. They used to get out of stock and so fast, yous literally stalked the website to go one. I've had mine for most ten years now and they all the same role amazingly. Take care of them well and they final. Now you can get the grey squirrel brushes on Harrod's and Freedom merely only the caprine animal pilus on Selfridges. I'm not certain why Selfridges stopped carrying the original as they're my favorite international retailer.

So the new brushes beyond hair type and feel have dissimilar shapes. Below y'all tin can see the new caprine animal pilus Powder Brush on the left and the original on the right. The shape is less tapered and more dense on the new one. If y'all desire a lighter more wispy application of pulverisation and then the original version is best. I establish the new one to be too dense for my tastes. I know the new 1 is way cheaper than the erstwhile one merely it's not nearly as good. Save your money for the original grey squirrel version.

The Blush Brush has a more like shape to the original. The difference is going to exist similar. The original (right) is wispy and gives a super calorie-free application of powder, the newer version (left) gives a more dense awarding of color. The new SUQQU goat brush is akin to many on the marketplace and information technology's a good 1 if you lot're looking for one that does a good application of color. If you're one who's used to the old version information technology's just not the same. Use the new version for more light or less pigmented blushes. Use the quondam i for those really pigmented shades. The wispy soft light erstwhile version is what made information technology then famous on the market place. Honestly in that location'due south nothing else similar it, in one case you try information technology–you know.

The Smudging Brush is a round short brush good for creases, under the lash line and other tight, small areas. I compared it below to the SUQQU Due south Brush (left) which is smaller in size and shape. The new SUQQU Smudging Brush (right) is smaller than the SUQQU M Castor (gray squirrel). I accept the 2d S castor, not the original which I heard is different. The divergence is similar–The original is a bit wispier and softer, gives a slightly lighter awarding of color. The Smudging Castor gives a slightly heavier awarding of color. These two aren't a huge amount different different the chroma and powder brushes.

Overall the difference is pretty substantial between the new caprine animal hair version and the original greyness squirrel version. If you came to beloved SUQQU brushes for the light, wispy awarding of colour you lot won't similar the new version near every bit much. The new version isn't bad past any means it's just pretty unlike. Which version you lot like depends what yous want out of a brush. I liked the original for their unique lite and wispy brushes. There's really nothing else like them on the marketplace. Practise I need them? No. Do I love and use them a lot over the concluding nearly decade–hell yes.
